This is the scorebook of Vientos, a performative and sonic piece that forms part of the larger project La excitación del paisaje.
This publication brings together all the scores created for the piece. Most of them emerged from a long process of rehearsal and collective experimentation with the performers. The scores are, in many cases, elaborated versions of exercises developed during those sessions — physical, vocal, and imaginative practices that shaped the sonic language of the work. Others take the form of more conventional songs, with standard notation and structured melodies.
The sound work with the winds was articulated around three main operations: onomatopoeia, evocation, and narration. Through these, we explored how wind could be voiced, remembered, and told — not just as meteorological phenomenon, but as an agent that touches, moves, and transforms bodies and landscapes.
This scorebook is not only a collection of instructions, but a record of a process — a trace of the shared listening, attention, and invention that defined Vientos. It invites the reader to enter the poetic, corporeal, and sonic dimensions of the piece through notation, gesture, and silence.
