Río Manzanares

This is a processual notebook because, as the days and walks go by, I discover new forms of attention, new ways of writing, and new ways of storytelling. In addition to being a subjective record of the Manzanares River, it is also a record of an artistic process.

This publication is part of the project The Excitation of the Landscape: River.

It contains the diary of twelve days of walking along the Manzanares River, from Butarque (south of the municipality of Madrid) to El Pardo (north of the municipality of Madrid).

It gathers various types of information: a map of the river, the speed of the water, texts describing the things that caught my attention during the walks, and scores of the sounds I heard.
